There are many flights available from UK airports to either Malaga, Gibraltar or Jerez.
Malaga airport is 45 minutes by car, Gibraltar 25 minutes and Jerez about 1½ hrs. These airports are easily reached from the UK by budget airlines including Thomsonfly, Easyjet and Monarch Airlines. The flight time is approximately two hours.
La Duquesa is conveniently accessible by main coastal roads or a new toll motorway which is great value and costs about 10 Euros.
It is probably preferable to hire a car in advance for collection at the airport.
It is not unreasonable to expect to be able to book return flights costing less than £50 per person out of season and around £90 in high season. Car hire starts from around £100 for a full week.
